 Please join us for our annual free Tamale Dinner / Cookie Swap / Gen Mtg
THURSDAY, Dec 8th, 6:30-8:00 at VRES Cafeteria.
Free kids activities provided by the YMCA, including holiday cookie decorating.
All food, including mini hot dogs for the kids is free, just bring two dozen cookies, home baked or store bought, it doesn't matter, and you can take home a selection of other's cookies.
Please help us figure out how much food and refreshments to get by filling out our RSVP by Dec 1st.

VR Christmas Parade Rescheduled |

 Join us for our annual Christmas Parade on Saturday December 3rd 10th from 3pm-4pm. The parade begins at Terrazas Park. The route is counterclockwise along the loop road (Las Ventanas & Ventana Ranch Rd.).
Scheduled parade participants include our local cub scout pack, Westside Family YMCA, Smokey Bear, AFD and others.

The YMCA has talked about putting up a new facility to serve the Northwest side community for years. They even have $1 million in funds dedicated to do so from congressional sources and a city bond. Many of you have wondered why the YMCA doesn't use the vacant space available in Ventana Square or another nearby shopping center for a temporary facility until the economy turns around. Please participate in the poll (to the left) and let us know if this is something that is still important to you. |

 Join us for our Second Annual Halloween Fun Fest!
There will be games, candy, a jumper, contests, spooky graveyard, trunk or treat, and more!
There will be the following events
- costume contest
- pumpkin decorating contest
- arts & crafts
- trunk or treat decoration contest
* For the pumpkin contest please bring your already decorated pumpkins for the judges to award winners.
| TRUNK or TREAT | | Decorate your car's trunk (or the whole car if you want) and bring candy to give away and you are automatically entered into our Trunk or Treat best decorated contest! | WHEN: Saturday October 29th, 3pm

Parking will be limited so if you are not going to decorate your car for trunk or treat please try to walk or bike if you can. |
